Everything you need to know about Teens Know All Academy — our programmes, resources, how to get involved, and how to book.
About us
Teens Know All Academy CIC is a Community Interest Company — a not-for-profit social enterprise based in Durham. We create workshops, resources, programmes, and digital tools that help young people build confidence, communication skills, emotional wellbeing, and real-world life skills. We also support parents, schools, and community organisations
We are a Community Interest Company (CIC), which is a not-for-profit social enterprise. Our purpose is community benefit rather than profit. We work with funders, grant-making bodies, and partner organisations to sustain and grow our work.
Teens Know All Academy was founded by an educator, psychology graduate, and parent with years of experience working closely with teenagers, young adults, and families across the UK. Our content draws on psychology, education, and coaching principles — including the work of Dr Daniel Siegel and his research on adolescent brain development.
Our registered office is at Portland House, Belmont Business Park, Durham, DH1 1TW. However, we work with schools, families, and organisations across the UK, and many of our resources and programmes are accessible online.
Our programmes primarily focus on teenagers and young people between the ages of 12 and 24 — the period of adolescence as defined by leading researchers in youth brain development. Our parent-facing resources support families of teenagers in this age group.

For Parents
The Teen Translator is our psychology-informed platform for parents and carers. It helps you understand the emotional world behind your teenager’s behaviour — including withdrawal, attitude, silence, mood swings, and lack of motivation — through audio guidance, practical resources, and honest teen perspectives. It was created by a psychology graduate, teacher, and parent of a teenager.
Yes — this is one of the most common concerns parents come to us with. The Teen Translator is specifically designed to help parents understand what silence, withdrawal, and distance often really mean emotionally. When parents understand what is happening beneath the surface, they can respond with more clarity, connection, and confidence. Start with our free audio guides or complete the parent enquiry form.

Some are at pilot stage, and we work with schools to tailor what we deliver to the needs of their students.
We can deliver workshops and programmes in person and, where appropriate, online. Please complete the school enquiry form and our team will discuss the best format for your setting and location.
Pricing depends on the type of programme, number of students, and delivery format. Please complete the school enquiry form and a member of the team will discuss costs directly with you. As a CIC, we are committed to making our work as accessible as possible.
For Young People
We have a range of resources designed specifically for young people, including online courses, e-books and guides, card decks, and digital apps. Current resources available include the My Time My Life App (time management), the Confidence course, the Who Am I? course (identity and strengths), the Influencer Island course in development(social media and digital identity), and a growing library of guides covering confidence, friendships, school life, and life skills.
The My Time My Life App is more than a time management app designed specifically for teenagers. It includes strategies and tips of how to tackle coursework, projects, revesion and deadlines. They can include time for hobbies and set themselves with chores and online goals and also gives them a reminder checklist with things they need to take for before they leave home. Alltogether it helps young people organise their time, reduce overwhelm, and manage priorities.
